High School • All-Metro running back for Quakers junior and senior year • Two-time All-Metro in long jump, triple jump and high jump College • Two time All-Conference in both football and track freshman and sophomore year • Still holds the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) record in long jump • Led the nation in rushing yards and touchdowns while at Long Beach State University Professional • Played six seasons in the NFL for the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Redskins • In 1975, set NFL record with 2,462 multi-purpose yards • First established NFL star to continue career internationally with the Canadian Football League (CFL) for three years • Named Five-time All-Pro (three years in the NFL and two years in the CFL) Other • Inducted into Franklin High School, Everett Community College, NWAACC and Long Beach State University Halls of Fame • Earned his Doctorate in Theology
